Ana-María Phillips serves as senior brand strategist for BTYcreative. Her vast experience in both the general and Hispanic markets, along with her unique bicultural background, ideally position her to collaborate with our BTYcreative brands to develop meaningful platforms that consumers can connect with on a practical and emotional level. Prior to joining BTYcreative, Ana-María spent seven years in corporate communications at Zachry Group with an emphasis on seeking inclusivity for employees of diverse backgrounds, countries of origin, and native languages, with the goal of strengthening employee career development, deepening the employee relationship with the enterprise, and increasing retention.

Ana-María has a degree in Radio, TV & Film with a minor in journalism and an emphasis in broadcasting from the University of Southern Mississippi. She started her career as a news anchor, reporter, and producer, then moved to San Antonio, where her bilingual skills were an asset in the advertising agency world. Ana-María’s greatest calling is being a mom to her daughter and encouraging her to flourish in her gifts and talents. Together, they have fostered countless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens and they educate people on the importance of spaying and neutering pets to reduce animal overpopulation. Ana-María is ethical, practical, level-headed, and leads by example.
